6/2/13 UPDATE re ANGELS: SO...one of the big highlights at an individual level was MIKE TROUT hitting for the CYCLE ! That was exciting. You can see some of it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVb2t48SXEU .
Also near the end of May the Angels had a bit of a winning streak, ...seven or eight games until it ended versus the dodgers during the freeway series at dodger stadium , which angels split 2-2.
Last I heard the Angels were having a bit of trouble versus the Houston Astros who have become a big pain in the backside for the Angels this year. And so despite the win streak the Angels are still in a mediocre place in terms of standings in the American League west. The season is still young, but won't be in a month from now.
